Shinto Shrine📍 Ibaraki, Japan
Ōarai Isosaki Shrine
大洗磯前神社
Oarai Isosaki Shrine on the Ibaraki coast is celebrated for the Kamiiso no Torii, a gate standing on a wave-battered rock where the shrine's deity is said to have descended. Photographers gather before dawn to catch the sunrise breaking behind the torii, one of the Kanto region's most striking sacred views.
