Toyōke Daijingū
豊受大神宮
Toyouke Daijingu is the formal name of the Outer Shrine (Geku) of Ise Jingu, dedicated to Toyouke Omikami, the goddess of food, clothing, and shelter who serves meals to the sun goddess Amaterasu. Pilgrims traditionally worship here before proceeding to the Inner Shrine, following centuries of custom.
