Shinto Shrine📍 Gunma, Japan
Haruna Shrine
榛名神社
Haruna Shrine in Gunma Prefecture is one of the Kanto region's most dramatic sacred sites, its halls wedged among towering rock spires on the slopes of Mount Haruna. The approach climbs a mossy ravine past waterfalls and colossal boulders, and the main hall is built directly against a giant rock pillar.
