Nishinomiya Shrine

西宮神社

Nishinomiya Shrine near Kobe is the head shrine of Japan's Ebisu shrines, dedicated to the smiling god of commerce and good fortune. It is nationally famous for the Toka Ebisu festival in January, when the gates open at dawn and runners sprint down the approach to become the year's 'lucky men.'
