Shinto Shrine📍 Nara, Japan
Ōmiwa Shrine
大神神社
Omiwa Shrine in Nara Prefecture is considered one of Japan's oldest shrines — so ancient that it has no main sanctuary, for the object of worship is Mount Miwa itself. Worshippers pray to the sacred mountain through the hall of worship, honoring Omononushi, deity of nation-building, sake brewing, and medicine.
