Kumano Nachi Taisha

熊野那智大社

Kumano Nachi Taisha, part of the UNESCO-listed sacred sites of the Kii Peninsula, sits high on a mountainside venerating Nachi Falls, Japan's tallest single-drop waterfall at 133 meters. The view of the neighboring temple's vermilion pagoda against the plunging cascade is one of Japan's most photographed scenes.
