Shinto Shrine📍 Nagasaki, Japan
Suwa Shrine
鎮西大社諏訪神社
Suwa Shrine, honored as Chinzei Taisha, is Nagasaki's principal shrine, standing on a long stone stairway above the city. It is the stage for the Nagasaki Kunchi in October, one of Japan's most flamboyant festivals, whose dragon dances and ship floats reflect the port city's centuries of Chinese and Dutch exchange.
